Paul Bryson Marine is based in L'Derry, Northern Ireland and work throughout Ireland and the UK. Paul is a Master Mariner (Unlimited) and a qualified Marine Engineer and has graduated the International Institute of Marine Surveyors Yacht and Small craft surveyor course.

Paul completed a dual cadetship (Deck & Engine) at South Tyneside College before concentrating on the navigation side and taking up a position as a deck officer with P&O Cruises. Paul continued to study and achieved his Masters (FG Unlimited), and continued through the ranks. Paul has sailed all over the world as a deck officer aboard some of the largest passenger ships in the world (Grand Princess, Queen Elizabeth 11, Queen Mary 2). Paul has been involved in ship surveys throughout the world and it is this level of professionalism that will be brought to your craft survey.

Since a young age Paul has been involved with boats and the sea and has owned several craft both wooden and fibreglass.

Paul Bryson Marine aims not only to offer Boat Owners and potential boat owners a full survey service but also a full Boat Purchase package if required – this will include non-biased advice on suitable craft, safety training, equipment advice right through to how to safely use navigation equipment whilst understanding its limitations and basic chartwork and navigation. One on one training can be arranged for anyone wishing to have some training in any of these fields.

Paul will also inspect, at special rates small outboard powered craft (upto 19ft), often bought as a first boat. These craft are often never surveyed or inspected and yet can be some of the most dangerous in use on our waterways.
